Three-Company Collaboration with Sankyo Seiko and Shinryo Corporation Enters Full-Scale Operation under the “Smartsilk®” Trademark

United Silk Co., Ltd., together with Sankyo Seiko Co., Ltd. and Shinryo Corporation, has jointly registered the trademark “Smartsilk®.”

“Smartsilk®” covers products and services across 15 categories, including yarns, textiles, apparel, cosmetics, beverages, and food products made from cocoons produced using “MayuFacture®,” the smart sericulture system developed by Shinryo Corporation.

Going forward, Shinryo Corporation will be responsible for silkworm rearing and cocoon supply, while United Silk will manufacture, process, and sell silk powder. United Silk and Sankyo Seiko will also collaborate on product planning and sales, leveraging the strengths of all three companies to develop new markets for silkworm cocoon-derived products.
